Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - In an effort to strengthen sectoral data governance and support the implementation of the Satu Data Indonesia policy at the regional level, Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province organized the 2026 Sectoral Statistics Coaching Series 2 with the theme Principles of Satu Data Indonesia on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at the Hall of BPS Jawa Tengah Province. The event was attended by representatives of Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) of the Provincial Government of Jawa Tengah as sectoral data producers, as well as the Department of Communication, Informatics, and Digital of Jawa Tengah Province as the data custodian (walidata). The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, who emphasized in his remarks that high-quality data is the main foundation of development. Therefore, synergy among institutions is essential to produce data that are accurate, up-to-date, integrated, and accountable.

The coaching session featured several speakers: Iman Teguh Raharto, who delivered material on the principles of Satu Data Indonesia; Eva Dian Widiyastuti, who presented the implementation of SIPESAT as a tool for managing sectoral statistics; and Indah Purnamasari, who provided technical guidance on metadata completion to ensure data quality standards are met. The materials presented are expected to enhance OPDs’ understanding of data management in accordance with the principles of data standards, metadata, interoperability, and the use of reference codes.

The activity continued with interactive discussions and technical assistance provided by the Sectoral Statistics Coaching Team of BPS Jawa Tengah Province. Through this initiative, it is expected that the synergy between BPS as the data steward and OPDs as data producers will be further strengthened in supporting the implementation of Satu Data Indonesia, thereby enabling more integrated sectoral data provision in Jawa Tengah Province to support data-driven regional development planning and evaluation.
