Strengthening Data Governance, BPS Jawa Tengah Holds Sectoral Statistics Coaching Series 1

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS–Statistics of Jawa Tengah Province organized the In his remarks, the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah highlighted that data plays a strategic role in every stage of development, ranging from planning and implementation to monitoring and policy evaluation. Therefore, strong synergy between BPS and all OPDs is essential to create an integrated and reliable data ecosystem.

The event featured three speakers: Pristiana Diah Ariyantika, who delivered a presentation on the Identification of Statistical Activities; Yuli Purwitasari, who presented on Recommendations for Sectoral Statistical Activities; and Iman Teguh Raharto, who explained the Review of Sectoral Statistical Activities and the Utilization of the SIPESAT Application. Through these presentations, participants gained insights into the statistical business process, the mechanism for submitting recommendations for statistical activities, and the evaluation of sectoral statistics implementation through the SIPESAT application.

The activity was attended by representatives of OPDs from the Provincial Government of Jawa Tengah and forms part of BPS’s ongoing efforts to strengthen the capacity of sectoral statistics organizers. Through this coaching program, OPDs are expected to conduct more systematic identification of statistical activities and produce higher-quality data to support more targeted development policies in Jawa Tengah Province.
