Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id —  As part of the preparation for the implementation of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province organized the Statistical Business Register (SBR) Prelist Reconciliation to ensure the availability of accurate, up-to-date, and integrated business data. This event serves as a strategic step in refining the updated and ground-checked business listings, which form a crucial foundation for the successful implementation of the national economic data collection in 2026.

The SBR Prelist Reconciliation for SE2026 was conducted on Wednesday, 15 April 2026, at the 5th Floor Hall of BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province. The event was attended by provincial government institutions of Jawa Tengah, Heads of BPS-Statistics Regency/Municipality offices throughout Jawa Tengah, and Heads of SBR Teams at the regency/municipality level.

The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, who emphasized the importance of synergy and inter-agency collaboration in supporting the availability of high-quality economic statistical data as a basis for development policy formulation.

The activity featured speakers including the Head of the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Office (DPMPTSP) of Jawa Tengah Province, Sakina Rosellasari, who provided insights on the utilization of licensing data and the role of local government in improving the quality of business data. Another speaker, Irma Damayanti, Head of the Business Register Development Team from BPS-Statistics Indonesia, presented the results of the SBR ground check compiled into a prelist, which serves as a basis for formulating strategies toward SE2026.

Through this reconciliation forum, it is expected that all stakeholders will align their efforts in refining the SBR prelist, thereby ensuring that the 2026 Economic Census produces accurate, comprehensive, and valuable economic data for both regional and national development.
