The Construction Cost Index (IKK) is one of the indicators produced by BPS, in the form of a spatial index that describes the comparison of the level of cost of construction buildings between regions and is also the main component of the Adjustment Factor in calculating the General Allocation Fund (DAU).
Central Java Province BPS is holding a Regional Reconciliation (Rekonda) of 2024 IKK Data to ensure the correctness of the data, provide supporting information, and equalize perceptions of quality so that data comparability between districts/cities can be more consistent and explained.
2024 will be the first time the IKK data Reconda will be implemented in a hybrid manner. A total of 16 participants from the Provincial BPS and 35 participants from 35 Regencies/Cities throughout Central Java took part in the 2024 IKK data Reconda at the Central Java Provincial BPS office, guided through an online zoom meeting by 2 facilitators from Central BP.
This activity, which was carried out for 3 (three) days on 20-22 May 2024, was opened by the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Dadang Hardiwan. In his speech, Dadang expressed his appreciation for the district/city and provincial IKK teams who had overseen last year's IKK Rekonda activities so that Central Java Province BPS received an award from BPS RI as the best organizer of IKK Rekonda nationally in 2023. Dadang hopes that efforts will improve the quality of IKK data can continue to be carried out with a joint commitment from district/city, provincial and central BPS.
