BPS Jawa Tengah Committed to Increasing IKK Accuracy Through Reconciliation

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held a Construction Cost Index (IKK) Reconciliation activity on Wednesday to Friday, May 21-23, 2025. This activity was carried out as part of an effort to improve the quality of statistical data, especially in calculating the IKK at the district/city level.

The event was officially opened by the Acting Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, and was attended by all representatives of BPS districts/cities throughout Jawa Tengah. Two facilitators from the Central BPS, namely Khoirotunnisa and Zaradia Permatasari, were also present to provide technical assistance during the reconciliation process.

This activity aims to align perceptions, increase accuracy, and ensure the consistency of IKK data collected from all regions in Jawa Tengah Province. Through this reconciliation process, it is hoped that the IKK data will be more accurate and precise, so that it can be optimally utilized in supporting more effective and targeted budget planning at the local government level.

This IKK Rekonda activity is a strategic step in strengthening the national statistics system and increasing data contribution in the regional development process.
