Strengthening Collaboration, Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Holds Audience with Governor Jawa Tengah

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - In an effort to realize one of the visions of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), namely "Becoming an Independent, Trusted, and Actively Involved Institution in Supporting Data-Based Policy Formulation with Indonesia Maju Menuju Indonesia Emas", Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, along with staff on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, held an audience with the Governor of Jawa Tengah, Ahmad Luthfi.

On that occasion, Endang presented Strategic Indicator Data and the achievements of Jawa Tengah's Economic Growth in the First Quarter of 2025. "The highest growth based on business fields occurred in the agricultural sector which reached 22.75 percent. However, the largest contribution to the economy still came from the industrial sector with a share of 33.63 percent (q-to-q). In terms of expenditure, the highest contribution is still dominated by the household expenditure component, mainly the processed food and beverage group," Endang explained.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Luthfi, who was accompanied by the relevant OPD ranks, welcomed the audience and requested that the Jawa Tengah Province BPS continue to provide accurate strategic data, as well as input to the Regional Government so that the policies set are increasingly appropriate.
