BPS Jawa Tengah Province Holds FGD on the Preparation of Jawa Tengah in Figures 2026

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id – The BPS Jawa Tengah Province (Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Tengah) held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on the preparation of the Jawa Tengah in Figures 2026 publication at the BPS Jawa Tengah Province Auditorium on Tuesday–Wednesday, January 7–8, 2026. The activity was attended by all Regional Government Organizations (OPD) and vertical agencies that serve as data producers for the publication.

The FGD aimed to align sectoral data so that the Jawa Tengah in Figures publication can present complete, consistent, and timely data to support regional development planning and evaluation, policy formulation, research, and public services.

The activity was opened by Sumbodo Aji Cahyono, Senior Computer Officer and Head of the Information Systems and Dissemination Working Team of BPS Jawa Tengah Province. In his remarks, he emphasized that Jawa Tengah in Figures represents the face of official data for Jawa Tengah at the national level and therefore requires strong commitment from all data producers.

“The role of OPD and vertical agencies is crucial, starting from the provision of valid sectoral data, timely data submission, to ensuring consistency in definitions and units,” he stated.

The FGD discussed the evaluation of tables from previous publications, review of table titles and data coverage, as well as the alignment of definitions and data sources. Through this forum, it is expected that stronger synergy will be built among stakeholders to realize high-quality and reliable regional statistics.
