BPS Jawa Tengah Supports OJK in Efforts to Achieve Sustainable and Inclusive Economic Growth

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah Statistics Agency (BPS), Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, attended the 2025 Jawa Tengah Financial Services Industry (OJK) Performance Evaluation event, themed "Realizing a Well-Established and Growing Jawa Tengah Through Stable and Inclusive Jawa Tengah Financial Services Industry Performance," held by the Jawa Tengah Financial Services Authority (OJK) at the Gumaya Hotel in Semarang on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. The event was attended by the Governor of Jawa Tengah, Ahmad Luthfi, his staff, and representatives from all IJKs in Jawa Tengah.

On this occasion, the Head of the Jawa Tengah OJK, Hidayat Prabowo, expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the synergy and collaboration that has been established in supporting economic growth in Jawa Tengah. This evaluation was conducted to monitor developments in the financial services sector and formulate strategies to achieve sustainable and inclusive economic growth, as well as strengthen financial literacy in the community. One of the instruments used for the evaluation was the results of the National Survey on Financial Literacy and Inclusion (SNLIK), conducted by BPS in collaboration with the OJK.

Meanwhile, Ahmad Luthfi asked banks and other financial institutions to collaborate in creating programs that support the economic potential in villages, by distributing productive credit to MSMEs in rural areas.
