BPS Jawa Tengah Introduces Data Access and Statistical Technology to Students of SMK Bhakti Persada Kendal

BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province welcomed students and teachers from SMK Bhakti Persada Kendal for a Statistical Tour held in the Main Meeting Room on the third floor of BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province on Wednesday, October 7, 2026.

The activity was officially welcomed by Joko Suwarjo, Head of the General Affairs Division, representing the Chief Statistician of BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of utilizing statistical data in everyday life, education, and policy-making. Students were also encouraged to prepare for the world of work by developing strong character, discipline, ethics, and communication skills.

Through presentations on Data Access and BPS Services and Information Technology Implementation at BPS, participants were introduced to various BPS data products and services, the use of technology in data collection and processing, and opportunities to apply information technology skills in the field of statistics.

Through the Statistical Tour, students are expected to gain a deeper understanding of the importance of high-quality data as a basis for decision-making and to be able to utilize data to support their learning and broaden their knowledge.
