Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province conducted the Internalization of Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) Series 1 for 2026 on Thursday, February 19, 2026, held virtually and attended by all BPS Regency/Municipality offices across Jawa Tengah. This activity marked a strategic momentum to strengthen synergy in sectoral statistics development to ensure higher quality, better integration, and stronger outcome orientation.

The event was officially opened by the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, who emphasized that PSS 2026 must generate tangible impact for national statistical needs, not only in terms of documentation, but also in strengthening statistical substance and cross-sector data flows.

The technical session was delivered by Pristiana Diah Ariyantika, who presented the latest technical guidelines for sectoral statistics development, including updates on mechanisms, implementation stages, and the recalibration of the 2026 Key Performance Indicators (KPI). Meanwhile, Yuli Purwitasari delivered material on the identification of statistical activities as a crucial step to ensure that development outputs are aligned with strategic data needs. Through cross-team and cross-sector collaboration, PSS 2026 is expected to produce higher-quality sectoral statistics, support development planning, implementation, evaluation, and control, and further strengthen BPS’s contribution in advancing evidence-based policymaking.
