February 5, 2026 | BPS Activities
Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS continues to promote the strengthening of plantation data as an effort to support the Asta Cita of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, particularly in agricultural downstreaming and food self-sufficiency. Through the use of the Plantation Company Data Application (SEDAPP) and the Online Plantation Company Survey (SKB Online) in collecting plantation company data, BPS utilizes modern web-based technology to produce data that are more accurate, up-to-date, effective, and efficient.
As part of this data collection process, BPS Jawa Tengah Province organized the Regional Instructor Training for SEDAPP and SKB Online on 5–6 February 2026. The training was attended by twenty-two participants and facilitated by three national instructors. This activity also represents a form of synergy between BPS and the Directorate General of Plantations of the Ministry of Agriculture in collecting and coordinating plantation statistics data to support development planning based on high-quality data.
In his remarks, the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, emphasized the importance of high-quality, sustainable, up-to-date, and integrated plantation data within a single system to realize One Indonesian Plantation Data. The SEDAPP Online application enables objective measurement conducted independently by companies, reduces direct interaction with field officers, and ensures data security. Plantation data serve as an important foundation for formulating strategic policies, including the compilation of GDP, commodity balance sheets, and several other basic data.
