Strengthening Data Quality through SPUNP 2026 Enumerator Training

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province organized the 2026 Non-Agricultural Business Pattern Survey (SPUNP) Enumerator Training, held online for two days on March 12–13, 2026. The event was opened with remarks from the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Dr. Ali Said, M.A., who emphasized the importance of enumerators’ readiness in understanding survey concepts, definitions, and methodology before conducting field activities.

SPUNP is an important survey that produces quarterly indices of business production value or income and provides an overview of the development of non-agricultural businesses. The data generated will serve as one of the supporting sources in the compilation of Quarterly GDP/GRDP for several categories of economic activities.

Through this training, enumerators are expected to conduct data collection carefully, apply proper interview techniques, and ensure the quality of the collected data so that it is accurate and accountable.
