SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held the 2025 Government Agency Performance Accountability Evaluation (AKIP) Preparation activity on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, which was attended by the Head of BPS Regency/City and the BPS SAKIP Team of Provinces/Regencies/Cities throughout Jawa Tengah. This activity is a follow-up to the mandate of Presidential Regulation Number 29 of 2014 concerning SAKIP and the implementation of the Regulation of the Minister of PAN RB Number 88 of 2021 concerning the Evaluation of Government Agency Performance Accountability.
The event was officially opened by the Acting Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. In her remarks, Endang said that the implementation of the AKIP evaluation in the future would be more comprehensive, involving various parties, including the BPS Province Evaluator Team, as recommended by the Ministry of PAN-RB.
"In 2024, all BPS Regency/City work units in Jawa Tengah succeeded in achieving a SAKIP score with a BB predicate with an average score of 73.58 points. This shows that the implementation of AKIP in the BPS environment in Jawa Tengah has been running very well, reflecting the efficiency of budget use and a reliable and technology-based performance management system," said Endang.
Endang also emphasized the update of the main performance indicators in this year's AKIP evaluation. Therefore, he invited all participants to make the best use of this coaching forum to improve understanding and readiness in facing the upcoming evaluation.
In addition, commitment to time compliance was also highlighted as a crucial aspect in the optimal allocation of resources in carrying out BPS duties and functions. "The Provincial Coaching Team must provide reminders and assistance to the SAKIP team in the regions so that they can meet all evaluation document assessment criteria according to applicable provisions," he added.
This activity also presents competent speakers in the field of SAKIP, namely Siska Oktaviana DA, Ika Budi Ambaryanti, and Hadi Lestiyono, who provide technical coaching materials and strategies for strengthening performance accountability for the SAKIP team at the district/city level.
Through this activity, BPS Jawa Tengah hopes to continue to improve the quality of effective, efficient, and accountable governance in all its work units. (PR/gus)
