Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province held SIMPATIK (Synergy to Build Disciplined, Informative, and Communicative Employees) on Monday (August 31, 2026). Held at the 5th Floor Hall of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, the activity served as a forum to strengthen communication, share information, and enhance employees’ understanding of various strategic issues related to statistical data.

One of the topics discussed during this SIMPATIK session was DTSEN (National Single Socioeconomic Data) Deciles. The topic has attracted increasing attention amid widespread discussions about DTSEN among various stakeholders.

The presentation on DTSEN Deciles was delivered by Harjo Teguh Ilmiana, Head of the Social Statistics Team. In his presentation, Harjo explained the initial development of DTSEN, the variables included in DTSEN, the data matching and updating processes, as well as the utilization of DTSEN. The activity also featured a presentation on the DTSEN Check Channel delivered by Minatus Saniyah. This channel is one of the facilities that can be utilized to assist the public and relevant stakeholders in updating DTSEN data.

The presentation on DTSEN Deciles and the DTSEN Check Channel is expected to improve employees’ statistical literacy and understanding. In turn, employees will be better equipped to provide accurate, clear, and easy-to-understand information to the public while supporting efforts to maintain high-quality data updates.

The SIMPATIK activity also served as an opportunity to further foster a disciplined, informative, and communicative work culture. Through this forum, employees were encouraged not only to understand emerging information but also to communicate it effectively to the public and stakeholders.
