Inauguration of the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province Marks Strengthening of Leadership within BPS

Jakarta, jateng.bps.go.id – The Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, was officially inaugurated by the Head of Statistics Indonesia (BPS RI), Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti, during the inauguration of officials within the BPS environment held at the BPS RI Office on Tuesday (20/1). This inauguration was part of the appointment of 50 BPS officials, consisting of Senior Executive Service officials, Primary Executive Service officials, and Administrative officials.

The inauguration was witnessed by the Vice Minister of National Development Planning/Vice Head of Bappenas, Febrian Alphyanto Ruddyard, as well as the Deputy Head of BPS RI, Sonny Harry Budiutomo Harmadi. Along with Ali Said, a number of other officials were also inaugurated to assume new mandates and responsibilities within BPS.

On the same occasion, the Head of BPS RI inaugurated four Senior Executive Service officials, namely Zulkipli as Secretary General of BPS RI, Pudji Ismartini as Deputy for Statistical Methodology and Information, M. Nashrul Wajdi as Deputy for Social Statistics, and Ateng Hartono as Deputy for Distribution and Services Statistics.

In her remarks, Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti delivered a message to all inaugurated officials, including the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, to carry out their duties with full responsibility and dedication. She emphasized that a position is not a right, but a trust that must be carried out wholeheartedly.

“A position is not a right, but a mandate that must be carried out with a sense of responsibility and dedication,” said Amalia. She also stressed the importance of maintaining the quality of performance and focusing on the successful implementation of major BPS agendas, particularly the 2026 Economic Census.

This inauguration is expected to further strengthen the role and contribution of BPS Jawa Tengah Province under the leadership of Ali Said in producing high-quality statistics and supporting data-driven national development planning.
