REMBANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Acting Head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, directly reviewed the implementation of the 2025 Intercensal Population Survey (SUPAS) in Kasreman Village, Rembang District, Rembang Regency, Jawa Tengah, on Wednesday (11/6).
This visit is part of BPS's efforts to ensure the smooth running and quality of the implementation of SUPAS 2025, a national survey that has a strategic role in providing important demographic indicators such as birth rates, deaths, migration, and information on population structure and dynamics down to the district/city level.
"SUPAS 2025 is an important momentum in formulating more precise data-based policies. We want to ensure that the data collection process in the field runs according to standards and utilizes technology as optimally as possible," said Endang Tri Wahyuningsih in her statement on the sidelines of the visit.
In the activity, Endang directly monitored the interview process conducted by the Field Enumerator Officer (PCL), Fahrudin, who was guided by the Organic Officer as Field Supervisor (PML), Adi Muntiyardi Umar, and supervised by Hehardana as the Supervisory Officer from BPS. These officers used the Computer Assisted Personal Interviewing (CAPI) data collection mode, namely an interview method assisted by electronic devices to increase data efficiency and accuracy.
The implementation of SUPAS 2025 is scheduled to take place throughout June to July 2025, with a sample coverage of households throughout Indonesia. Through accurate and comprehensive data collection, SUPAS 2025 is expected to be an important foundation in the preparation of national and regional development planning.
BPS appeals to all people who are sampled to be able to accept and cooperate with officers who come to their homes, and to provide true information. Confidentiality and data security are fully guaranteed in accordance with the Statistics Law.
