Jawa Tengah's Non-Oil and Gas Trade Balance in July 2024 Returns to Surplus

Jawa Tengah's export value in July 2024 was US$937.94 million or an increase of 7.87 percent compared to exports in June 2024. Likewise, when compared to exports in July 2023, it increased by 8.41 percent.

Non-oil and gas exports in July 2024 reached US$887.40 million, an increase of US$35.66 million or 4.19 percent compared to the value of non-oil and gas exports in June 2024.

The three largest non-oil and gas export destination countries in July 2024 included the United States with a value of US$369.10 million, followed by Japan at US$84.54 million and China at US$51.97 million. The contribution of the three was 55.96 percent during January-July 2024. Jawa Tengah's trade balance in July 2024 was a deficit of US$478.02 million.

The oil and gas trade balance experienced a deficit of US$687.03 million while the non-oil and gas trade balance experienced a surplus of US$209.01 million.
