Regional Instructor Training (Inda) Updating Enumeration Area SLS in 2024

The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) routinely manages master and statistical working area maps (Wilkerstat) to develop a sample frame as a basis for census and survey activities.

Local Environmental Units (SLS) are starting to be used as an alternative enumeration area (EA) in BPS activities. The challenge in using SLS as an EA is that it is very dynamic. For this reason, it is necessary to continue updating.

Starting from April 22 to April 26 2024, BPS Central Java Province is holding Regional Instructor (Inda) training for updating the SLS Enumeration Area in 2024. This training aims to train regional instructors who will later teach field officers who will update SLS content on SLS experiencing problems. change.

The training began with overview activities and a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) on 22-23 April 2024, and Distance Learning (PJJ) on 24-26 April 2024. PJJ was opened by the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Dr. Dadang Hardiwan, S.Si, M.Si. This training was attended by 35 participants from each Regency/City in Central Java Province and 4 Sit In participants from BPS Central Java Province.
