The economic development of a nation is an important pillar for the implementation of the development process in all fields, if successful it will provide a 'multiplier effect' on the development of other fields.
National priority program number 3 is increasing economic value added. Tourism is one of the sectors that the government is working on to increase economic growth and be able to encourage improvements in all sectors.
The initial information from tourism is tourists (tourists). Tourists need transportation. That means there is growth in the transportation sector. Besides transportation, tourists also need to eat / drink. The effect of this is the increase in food stalls / restaurants. Food stalls / restaurants need agricultural produce. Impacts obtained, agriculture increases. The industrial sector was also driven by the sale of souvenir items. The multiplier effect is the increase in the amount of energy, production of goods and services, remuneration, taxes and profits.
The above is one of the points directed by the Head of the BPS Jawa Tengah Province in opening Simultaneous Consultation activities on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and Regional Instructor Training Nusantara Tourist Survey which is a joint activity of the Balance Analysis Area (NWAS) and Distribution Statistics Field yesterday ( 28/3) at the Artos Magelang Hotel.
This Balance and Tourism Collaboration will be sustainable in the Tourism Satellite Account.
