Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province presented awards to tenants of the Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (KIW) for their active participation in BPS statistical data collection activities. The awards were presented by Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, during the KIW Tenant Gathering 2026 at The Suri Ballroom, Somerset–Queen City Mall Semarang, on Thursday (September 24, 2026).
The awards were one of the agendas of the Tenant Gathering, which was part of the 38th anniversary celebration of PT Kawasan Industri Wijayakusuma (Persero). This year’s event carried the theme “Expanding Bigger, Evolving Better.”
On the occasion, BPS Jawa Tengah appreciated KIW tenants that actively participated in various statistical activities, including the Quarterly Company Survey (STPU), the Annual Company Survey (IBS), and the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026).
Ali Said emphasized that companies’ participation in statistical activities is not merely about fulfilling the obligation to complete questionnaires, but also represents a contribution to providing high-quality, complete, and timely data.
Data collected through various statistical activities serve as an important basis for development planning and policymaking at both the regional and national levels. Therefore, active participation from the business sector is an essential part of building an accurate and reliable data ecosystem.
The awards were presented to selected tenants recognized as the Best Corporate Respondents. The appreciation is expected to motivate them to maintain their commitment and further contribute to BPS statistical activities.
Synergy between BPS and the business sector is expected to continue, particularly in supporting the provision of statistical data that can serve as a foundation for sustainable development.
The KIW Tenant Gathering 2026 provided an opportunity to strengthen collaboration among the industrial estate management, tenants, and various stakeholders, while also recognizing the tenants’ contributions to supporting statistical activities and development.
