In-Depth Review of Field Data Collection

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id − The Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, accompanied by the Head of BPS Semarang City, Rudi Cahyono, conducted supervision of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) field data collection in Pedurungan Tengah Village, Pedurungan District, Semarang City, on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The supervision was carried out to directly review the data collection process in the field, particularly data that was incomplete and business units that had not yet been recorded.

 

During the activity, Ali Said and his team monitored and evaluated the data collection conditions to ensure that all business units covered by SE2026 were properly recorded. The field review was also part of the effort to ensure that officers verified and completed information according to actual conditions, so that no respondents were missed and no data remained incomplete.

 

Through direct supervision, BPS Jawa Tengah Province continues to strengthen quality control of SE2026 data collection to produce complete, accurate, and high-quality economic data. Complete coverage of the data collection is essential to provide a comprehensive picture of economic conditions and support the formulation of data-driven development policies.
