Strengthening Field Data Collection Preparation Phase 2 2025 MBG Monitoring Survey

October 31, 2025 | BPS Activities

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - Jawa Tengah Province Statistics Agency (BPS) held a Consolidation and Coordination Meeting for Field Data Collection Preparation for the Phase 2 Free Nutritional Meal Program Monitoring and Evaluation Survey to strengthen coordination and strategic planning for field data collection. This activity is a crucial step in the successful implementation of the Phase 2 MBG Program Monitoring and Evaluation Survey in Central Java Province.

The activity, held on October 30-31, 2025, at the Harris Hotel Sentraland, was opened by the Acting Head of Central Java Province BPS and attended by Regency/City BPS Heads along with the BPS technical and administrative teams from across Central Java. In her remarks, Endang explained that the purpose of this survey was to obtain an overview of MBG program implementation at the SPPG (Serving Centers for Food Security), suppliers, schools, and beneficiary households. Furthermore, it also examined the impact before and after the MBG program, measured through households. She emphasized the importance of BPS's role in the MBG program survey, as it serves as a mirror of public policy and a measure of the extent to which development truly impacts people's lives.

This activity was also carried out in a hybrid format, with speakers from the Director of Production Balance of the Statistics Indonesia (BPS RI), Puji Agus Kurniawan, and Special Staff of the National Nutrition Agency (Ary Santoso). It was also attended by the BGN Regional Coordinator for Central Java and Yogyakarta, the Indonesian Development Driving Scholars (SPPI), and the Head of the Nutrition Fulfillment Service Unit (SPPG) for Central Java. This activity is expected to improve the quality of the MBG survey data collection results, which will be used as material for future evaluation.
