Training of Survey Officers for Monitoring and Evaluation of the MBG Program

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Improving the quality of public health and nutrition is one of the priorities of the Indonesian Government in supporting the achievement of national development goals. Therefore, the government is committed to implementing the Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG) as part of a strategic effort to improve public welfare through targeted nutritional interventions.

In order to comprehensively measure the impact of the program, a special survey needs to be conducted to assess the influence of MBG on economic, employment, and social indicators. The Jawa Tengah BPS Province conducted training for Special Survey Officers for the Evaluation and Monitoring of the MBG Program on Wednesday-Saturday, June 11-14, 2025. This training took place in two waves and was conducted online via Zoom Meeting.

The training, which was attended by all data collection officers throughout Jawa Tengah Province, was opened directly by the Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah BPS Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. Endang said, in 2025, the Special Survey for Evaluation and Monitoring of the MBG Program will be conducted twice, namely in June 2025 and November 2025. Respondents to the Special Survey for Evaluation and Monitoring of the MBG Program consist of two groups, namely respondents who organize MBG consisting of SPPG, Suppliers, and Schools and respondents who receive MBG benefits, namely households and students.
