SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - Data shows that the manufacturing industry contributes strategically to the performance of national gross domestic product (GDP). Capturing industrial production also provides data that is a key pillar of the national economy. This is the basis for the Semarang City Statistics Agency (BPS) holding a Quarterly IBS Survey Officer Briefing on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at the Semarang City BPS Hall.

Present and opening the morning's event was the Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah BPS Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, who also provided direction and motivation to the officers on understanding the importance of data. She also conveyed that the results of this survey contribute significantly to government policymaking. Therefore, officers are expected to understand the concepts well, improve their communication skills, and continue to build good relationships with respondents.
