The Free, Quality Nutritional Meal Program Meets Students' Nutritional Needs

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) held a Regional Consolidation Meeting to oversee the Free Nutritional Meals (MBG) Program across Jawa Tengah and Yogyakarta on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Jatidiri Sports Hall in Semarang.

This event was part of BGN's efforts to evaluate the implementation of the MBG program and improve the quality of menus to optimize its benefits for students. The event opened with remarks from the Governor of Jawa Tengah, Ahmad Luthfi, who emphasized that the MBG program not only plays a crucial role in meeting students' nutritional needs but also has a positive impact on the regional economy.

Also in attendance was the Head of BGN, Dadan Hindayana, who expressed his appreciation to all parties who have contributed to the success of the MBG program in Jawa Tengah. In addition, the Acting Head of the Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, also attended the event, along with Jawa Tengah Provincial Government Organizations (OPD), regional heads from across Jawa Tengah, and representatives from the SPPG (National Nutrition Education and Training Center) from Jawa Tengah and Yogyakarta.

This momentum is a form of real synergy in supporting students' nutritional needs and creating a healthy and productive generation in Jawa Tengah Province.
