SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held a Boundary Reconciliation for Updating the Geospatial Framework and Content of the SE2026 Workforce Plan on Wednesday, September 17, 2025. The activity, attended by those responsible for processing BPS workforce plans at district/city levels throughout Jawa Tengah, aimed to ensure there were no gaps or overlaps in workforce boundaries between districts/cities in Jawa Tengah. Furthermore, this activity also aimed to improve the quality of workforce processing carried out at BPS workforce sites.


The Head of General Affairs at BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Joko Suwarjo, opened the reconciliation event on behalf of the Acting Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province. In his remarks, Joko urged BPS workforce sites in districts/cities to adhere to the workforce processing schedule and improve the quality of processing to produce accurate, consistent, and beneficial data for regional and national development.


This activity discussed the field implementation evaluation of the SE2026 Workforce Plan and Content Update, including data processing, and map processing. Participants also discussed inter-district/municipal boundaries and agreed on the boundaries to eliminate gaps and overlaps in the digital wilkerstat maps. This activity is expected to improve the quality of data processing and digital wilkerstat maps, which will serve as a framework for the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026).
