Welcoming SE2026, Central Java BPS Holds KBLI Internalization

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - On Tuesday, September 16, 2025, the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held an online Internalization of the 2025 Indonesian Standard Industrial Classification (KBLI). The event, attended by BPS districts/cities throughout Jawa Tengah, aimed to align perceptions and increase understanding regarding the implementation of the KBLI, particularly in supporting preparations for the 2026 Economic Census. The Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, emphasized that the KBLI is a crucial instrument for maintaining data consistency and integration.

The resource person was David Setya Prehandoko from the Directorate of Methodology and Survey Development, BPS RI, who traveled specifically from Jakarta to provide technical insights and answer participants' questions regarding KBLI implementation.

Through this forum, BPS Jawa Tengah Province hopes that the implementation of the KBLI can be optimized, so that it becomes more than just a code, but also a foundation that will determine the accuracy of business data in Indonesia. This is crucial as we prepare for the 2026 Economic Census.
