Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id – Quality assurance is an important part of ensuring that Integrated Statistical Services (PST) can provide services according to standards and user needs. In the implementation of ISO 9001:2015, internal audit is a crucial stage for evaluating the application of the quality management system, identifying opportunities for improvement, and encouraging continuous improvement of service quality. Audits are not merely a means to find fault but serve as a tool for evaluation and joint improvement.
As part of these efforts, BPS Central Java Province conducted an Internal Audit of PST on September 15–16, 2026. The audit involved Top Management and Deputy Management along with the ISO Team, Staffing Team, Goods and Services Procurement (PBJ) Team, and Services Team. During the Top Management audit, the Head of BPS Central Java Province, Ali Said, conveyed management's commitment to maintaining PST quality through evaluating Data Needs Surveys (SKD), Public Service Standards (SPP) FGDs, Management Review Meetings (RTM), improving staff competence, strengthening infrastructure, and utilizing technology in services.
The audit results serve as evaluation material to ensure service processes run according to standards while identifying opportunities for improvement. PST quality improvement is continuously supported through strengthening service processes, enhancing staff competence, utilizing user evaluation results, and developing technology-based innovations such as AI-based LATIFA, OTS, SDGs Viewers, and ELITA. Through consistent implementation of ISO 9001:2015, BPS Central Java Province is committed to maintaining the quality of PST services and making continuous improvements.
