Synergy between BPS and Forkopimda Central Java to Welcome Eid Al-Fitr 2024

In order to maintain regional conduciveness in welcoming Eid al-Fitr 2024/1445 H, the Central Java Provincial Government held a Regional Leadership Coordination Forum Meeting, which took place at Gradhika Bhakti Praja, Monday 1 April 2024.

Acting Governor of Central Java, Commissioner General of Police (Ret.) Drs. Nana Sudjana A.S., M.M, in his direction conveyed several issues ahead of homecoming and Eid al-Fitr. One of the main issues discussed was the availability of people's basic needs and price stability. This is very important because the number of travelers heading to Central Java is quite large and the problem of food availability must be prepared well.

In this forum, BPS is present in synergy with data related to inflation ahead of Eid al-Fitr. Head of BPS Central Java Province, Dadang Hardiwan, conveyed inflation data that had just been released by BPS. Central Java inflation ahead of Eid al-Fitr was at 0.60 percent with the main contributor being the increase in the price of purebred chicken meat and purebred chicken eggs.

People are appealed to when celebrating Eid al-Fitr to shop according to their needs and not excessively to ensure that the availability of food and energy stocks remains safely under control.
