SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province in collaboration with UNDIP Statistics Corner successfully held an online statistics education webinar packaged in the Statistical Coaching Clinic (SCC) Series 1 on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 with the theme "Understanding Inflation and Its Utilization as Economic Insight". Acting Head of Jawa Tengah BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, opened the event by emphasizing the importance of statistics in development planning and evaluation.
The first session of this activity was filled with material by the Head of the Price and Distribution Statistics Team, Arjuliwondo, who discussed the causes and impacts of inflation from various consumer, producer, to government policy and strategies for handling inflation amidst global economic uncertainty. The second material was delivered by UNDIP Statistics Lecturer, Hasbi Yasin, who explained how price data can be transformed into economic insight through statistical and forecasting methods.
The SCC activity was interactive, and became a shared learning space to improve statistical literacy and understand inflation more deeply.
