SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province held an activity called "Internalization of Social Media Utilization Strategy in 2026 Economic Census Publicity" on Friday, June 13, 2025. This activity was held online via Zoom Meeting and was attended by the Public Relations Team and the 2026 Economic Census Implementation Team of BPS throughout Jawa Tengah.
The event was opened by the Acting Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, who in her remarks emphasized the importance of conveying the message of the 2026 Economic Census (SE) widely, quickly, and uniformly. She also emphasized the main objective of this activity, namely to increase public awareness and participation, while building a sustainable communication and coordination ecosystem within BPS.
Presenting the main speaker Kunti Puspitasari, BPS Young Expert Public Relations Officer, the main session dissected the material entitled "Discussions on Social Media, Listening and Evaluating". In her presentation, Kunti explained the importance of the SE2026 publicity strategy, starting from determining the objectives of the communication campaign, monitoring the performance of BPS social media, to efforts to optimize the effective dissemination of information.
This activity is expected to strengthen BPS's communication strategy ahead of the implementation of SE2026, especially in maximizing the role of social media as a means of delivering relevant, interesting, and reliable information to the wider community.
