Macro Data as a Basis for Education Improvement Policy

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - To support the priority program to improve the quality of education as stated in the Jawa Tengah Governor's Long-Term Regional Development Plan (RPJPD), the Jawa Tengah Provincial Bappeda held a Coordination Meeting on the Strategy to Increase the Length of Education Towards Golden Indonesia 2045.

Taking place at the Jawa Tengah Provincial Bappeda Office on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, the meeting was opened by the Head of the Jawa Tengah Provincial Bappeda, Harso Susilo. Present as a resource person, the Acting Head of the Jawa Tengah Provincial BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, who explained the macro conditions of education in Jawa Tengah, including data on Average Length of Schooling (RLS) and Expected Length of Schooling (HLS). Endang said that several districts/cities had succeeded in achieving the set targets. On that occasion, the importance of sectoral data and Village Potential (Podes) in recording the condition of educational welfare in the Jawa Tengah region was also emphasized.
