SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province held a Socialization of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management on Friday, May 9, 2025. This online activity was attended by all employees of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, BPS Regency/City in Jawa Tengah Province, and related OPD/Agencies within BPS Jawa Tengah Province. This socialization aims to provide a deeper understanding of the Quality Policy and Quality Targets implemented at BPS Jawa Tengah Province in order to provide optimal service to the public.
In her keynote speech, the Acting Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, said that the Integrated Statistics Service (PST) of BPS Jawa Tengah Province had obtained ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2023, which shows BPS's commitment to maintaining the quality of statistical services provided. Endang also said that in 2025, BPS Jawa Tengah Province will undergo a surveillance audit to ensure that quality standards are maintained.
Furthermore, Endang reminded that quality management is not just an administrative routine or merely the implementation of formal procedures, but must become a living culture in every employee activity. She emphasized the importance of strong collaboration between BPS and service users to create a sustainable service culture.
The material session at this socialization presented Eva Dian Widyastutie, a Young Expert Computer Technician at BPS Jawa Tengah Province, who delivered a detailed presentation on the various types of services available at BPS Jawa Tengah Province. Eva also explained the basic principles of ISO 9001:2015, which include quality policies and quality targets implemented to improve the quality of statistical services in this province.
With this socialization, it is hoped that all parties involved in providing data and services at BPS Jawa Tengah Province can better understand the importance of quality management standards, so that data users will feel more secure and satisfied in using existing services. In addition, this socialization is expected to further strengthen BPS's commitment to providing transparent, accountable, and high-quality services to the public.
