Socialization of the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System

BPS Central Java Province held a socialization event for the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System on Monday, July 15 2024 in a hybrid manner with ASN participants and outsourced employees at BPS Central Java Province as well as external parties consisting of departments/agencies and universities. The activity was opened by the Head of Central Java Province BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih. In his speech, Endang said that one of BPS's duties is data and information services.

The socialization material for the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system was delivered by the Central Java Province BPS Young Expert Statistics, Medha Wardhany. Through this outreach, Central Java Province BPS shows its commitment to improving service quality and quality management systems in accordance with international standards.

The implementation of ISO 9001:2015 by Central Java Province BPS is a strategic step to ensure that all work processes and services provided meet strict quality requirements. This standard is designed to help organizations ensure that customer and stakeholder needs are met consistently.

With this outreach activity, it is hoped that all stakeholders will know about the implementation of the ISO 9001:2015 quality management system in the Central Java Province BPS Integrated Statistics Service (PST). Apart from that, this socialization is also expected to increase public trust in the statistical data produced and provide a greater contribution to policy making.
