BPS supports the Health Department in achieving health sector programs

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id - The health sector is not only a focus of aspirations, but is also a priority for the development direction contained in the National Long Term Development Plan (RPJPN).

In order to find out the direction of Development policy for 2025-2029, the Jawa Tengah Provincial Health Service held a Technical Coordination Meeting on Harmonization of Central and Regional Governments in the Implementation of Health Services in Jawa Tengah Province on 7-8 December 2024 at the Alila Hotel Solo.

In the technical coordination meeting, the Head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, explained the policy of adjusting census results to achieve health sector programs. In his presentation, Endang said that development in the health sector is an important aspect in improving people's quality of life. Suggestions and recommendations given to strengthen the health sector include strengthening facilities and infrastructure, increasing access to health, strengthening human resources, preventing and treating disease, improving environmental quality, as well as funding and policy support.

On the same occasion, the Head of Jawa Tengah Province BPS also attended the Launching of the Independent Screening for TBC and Mental Health by the Indonesian Minister of Health, Budi Gunadi Sadikin together with the Regional Secretary of Jawa Tengah Province, Soemarno.
