BPS Conducts Trial of FASIH Form VP-VN Application in Jawa Tengah

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.g.id - In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of horticultural statistical data collection, BPS conducted a trial of the use of the FASIH Form VP-VN application in Jawa Tengah. This activity took place on 10-11 September 2024 with the location in Semarang Regency and Kendal Regency. The main objective of this activity is to test the feasibility of FASIH Form VP-VN in the Survey Data Collection of Horticultural Companies and Other Horticultural Businesses. This test is important to ensure that the form can function properly and effectively in collecting accurate and relevant data.

Several variables collected include location information, company conditions or NRT, type of cultivation business, quantity and value of production, and wages and labor. This survey is also related to SDGs indicators, such as farmer welfare, productivity, and land status according to type of ownership.

It is hoped that the use of FASIH will later be able to produce reliable and timely horticultural statistical data for planning the development of the horticultural sub-sector in the future. BPS is committed to continuously improving data quality for better Indonesian development.
