Jawa Tengah Economy in Q2 Grows Solidly by 4.92 Percent (yoy)

The Jawa Tengah economy in Q2-2024 grew positively by 4.92% (y-on-y) and 4.94% (c-to-c). This achievement experienced a slowdown from Q1-2024 which grew by 4.97% (y-on-y).

In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision business sector with an achievement of 11.43% (y-on-y). In addition, the Corporate Services business sector also recorded an achievement of 9.97% (y-on-y), followed by the Information and Communication business sector at 8.97% (y-on-y).

Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Consumption Expenditure component of Non-Profit Institutions Serving Households (PK-LNPRT) recorded the highest growth, namely 18.76% (y-on-y). In addition to the PK-LNPRT component, the Import component also recorded positive growth of 12.39% (y-on-y), followed by the Export component of 8.78% (y-on-y).
