The total trade balance experienced a deficit of US $ 23.81 million
Central Java's total trade balance in November 2020 experienced a deficit of US $ 23.81 million. This is because the oil and gas sector experienced a deficit of US $ 78.80 million, on the other hand, the trade balance in the non-oil and gas sector experienced a surplus of US $ 54.99 million. The deficit in November is the fifth deficit in 2020.
Based on data from the Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Jawa Tengah which was released on January 4, 2021, it was noted that the total exports of Jawa Tengah in November 2020 reached US $ 688.45 million. The three biggest non-oil and gas export destination countries for November 2020 include the United States with a value of US $ 214.27 million, followed by Japan with US $ 77.62 million and China with US $ 59.47 million.
The total imports of Jawa Tengah in November 2020 reached US $ 712.26 million. The three largest suppliers of non-oil and gas imports during November 2020 were occupied by China with US $ 327.77 million, followed by the United States with US $ 47.82 million and South Korea with US $ 22.96 million.
The total trade balance of Central Java experienced a deficit in November 2020, but on the other hand, the non-oil and gas trade balance was able to record a surplus this month, indicating that there are still positive signals and a sense of optimism from business actors.
