CAWI's Rehearsal of the 2020 Population Census in Solo.

Sunday, June 30, 2019, at the Smart Park of the Technopark area, Jebres Village, Jebres District, Surakarta City, BPS Surakarta City stressed the preparation of the 2020 Population Census Clean Rehearsal with the socialization of independent census assistance using the internet or Computer Assisted Web Interviewing (CAWI) RT chief the whole village of Jebres.

The socialization program was opened by Jebres Sub-District Chief, Agung Riyadi, who represented the Mayor of Surakarta. In his remarks, Agung reminded urgently the Population Census 2020 data (SP2020) for development planning in the fields of education, health, and housing. He was also proud because of the approximately 76 thousand villages / kelurahan in Indonesia, Jebres kelurahan was chosen to be one of the kelurahans that became the pilot for the implementation of SP2020. For this reason, he hopes that all RT heads present will participate in the success of the rehearsal and the implementation of a real census.

From the whole event, the socialization of the independent census was smooth. Participants were very enthusiastic listening to the material and practicing CAWI filling online. After returning home, the heads of these RTs were asked to socialize the implementation of an independent census (CAWI) in their respective RT neighborhoods, while ensuring at least 15 costs for completing the online census.
