Abstract

The harvest area of corn kernels in 2024 is estimated at 0.44 million hectares, an increase of 0.07 million hectares or 17.59 percent compared to the harvest area in 2023 of 0.37 million hectares.
The production of dry corn kernels with a water content of 14 percent in 2024 is estimated at 2.59 million tons, an increase of 0.41 million tons or 18.97 percent compared to 2023 of 2.17 million tons.
