Harvested Area and Rice Production in Jawa Tengah Province 2024 (Temporary Figures)

Abstract

The rice harvest area in 2024 is estimated to be around 1.55 million hectares, a decrease of 91.07 thousand hectares or 5.54 percent compared to the rice harvest area in 2023 which was 1.64 million hectares.

Rice production in 2024 is estimated to be 8.83 million tons of GKG, a decrease of 253.95 thousand tons of GKG or 2.80 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 9.08 million tons of GKG.

Rice production in 2024 for population food consumption is estimated to be around 5.08 million tons, a decrease of 146 thousand tons or 2.80 percent compared to rice production in 2023 which was 5.22 million tons.
