Rice Production and Crops (Forecast Figures II 2012)

Based on Forecast Figures II, in 2012 the rice production in Central Java Province was estimated at 10,199 million tons of dry unhusked rice (paddy). Rice production was increased by 8.59 percent when it compared to Fixed figures (ROOF) 2011 which amounted to 9,391 million tons. The increase in rice production was affected by the increase in harvest area from 1.72 million hectares in 2011 to 1.78 million hectares in 2012 or it was increased by 3.19 percent.
