Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province received a visit from the Human Resources Bureau Team of the Secretariat General of the DPR RI for a Benchmarking on Integrity Zone Towards Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Region (WBBM) on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, in the 3rd Floor Meeting Room of BPS Jawa Tengah Province.

This activity served as a platform to share experiences and best practices in Integrity Zone development, particularly regarding BPS Jawa Tengah Province’s strategies in achieving the Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Region (WBBM) designation in 2024, following its previous Corruption-Free Region (WBK) title in 2020.

Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, Dr. Ali Said, MA, stated that achieving WBBM was the result of joint efforts across the entire team and collaboration with Regency/City BPS throughout Jawa Tengah. The innovations developed must deliver real impact, particularly in improving public service quality, while remaining sustainable and replicable by other institutions.

Through presentations and discussions, participants shared insights on strengthening governance, fostering a culture of integrity, managing risks, compiling supporting evidence, and developing public service innovations tailored to public needs.

It is hoped that this benchmarking activity will reinforce a shared commitment to building a clean, accountable, and high-integrity bureaucracy that provides excellent service to the public.
