Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id — BPS of Jawa Tengah Province held a strategic meeting at the 2nd Floor Meeting Room on September 18, 2026, to discuss an economic impact analysis of the National Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) 2026, a major event held in Semarang.

The meeting was attended by Head of the Economic Bureau of the Regional Secretariat of Jawa Tengah Province, Drs. Johan Hadiyanto, M.Si., and Head of BPS of Jawa Tengah Province, Dr. Ali Said, M.A. The two officials engaged in an intensive discussion on the event’s contribution to economic growth in Jawa Tengah.

The discussion is expected to generate accurate, data-driven insights, ensuring that the National MTQ is not only successful in its religious mission but also generates a significant multiplier effect for the economy and communities across Jawa Tengah.

Strong synergy between policymakers and statistical data providers is key to supporting more precise and evidence-based economic development.
