Strengthening Synergy: BPS Jateng Holds an Audience Governor to Support the Success of SE2026

SEMARANG, jateng.bps.go.id – Statistics Indonesia (BPS) of Jawa Tengah Province, in collaboration with the Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency (DPMPTSP) of Jawa Tengah Province, conducted the Implementation of KBLI 2025 and Socialization of the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026) Series 4 on Friday, June 5, 2026, through an online platform. The event was attended by companies under the guidance of DPMPTSP, as well as representatives of DPMPTSP and BPS from the former Pati Residency area and Sragen Regency.

During the event, participants were provided with information on the implementation of KBLI 2025, which will officially take effect on June 18, 2026. This update to the business classification system aims to accommodate the increasingly diverse range of economic activities, including the digital economy, green economy, and various emerging business models.

The socialization session also served as a platform to introduce the 2026 Economic Census (SE2026), which aims to provide a comprehensive picture of the structure and characteristics of Indonesia’s economy. The data collected will serve as a basis for development planning and the formulation of more targeted economic policies. BPS emphasized that all respondent data will be kept strictly confidential and used solely for statistical purposes.

Through this activity, BPS and DPMPTSP encouraged all business actors to actively participate in the implementation of KBLI 2025 and support the execution of SE2026 in order to produce high-quality economic data as a foundation for sustainable development.
