Synergy Reduces Poverty, BPS Central Java Attends Bappeda FGD

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province participated in a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) organized by the Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Jawa Tengah Province on Tuesday, March 31, 2026. Held at the Bappeda office, the discussion focused on analyzing the poverty situation and formulating policy scenarios for poverty reduction in Jawa Tengah for 2027.

In this forum, the Head of BPS Jawa Tengah Province presented a comprehensive poverty analysis, covering trends in poverty reduction, regional disparities, and key factors influencing poverty levels. The session also featured speakers from SMERU Research, Dr. Asep Suryahadi, who emphasized the importance of evidence-based policymaking, and from Universitas Muhammadiyah Kudus, Dr. Bonnix Hedy Maulana, who delivered insights on regional structure and policy recommendations to increase income.

Through this discussion, various stakeholders collaborated to formulate more targeted and effective policies. The outcomes of the FGD are expected to serve as a foundation for sustainable poverty reduction efforts in Jawa Tengah.
