BPS Jawa Tengah Conducts Sectoral Statistics Development Internalization Series 3

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS–Statistics of Jawa Tengah Province organized the The event featured three speakers: Pristiana Diah Ariyantika, who presented material on Statistical Data Standards; Yuli Purwitasari, who delivered a session on Recommendations for Sectoral Statistical Activities; and Siska Oktaviana D. A., who discussed Statistical Quality Assurance. Through these presentations, participants gained insights into the importance of data standards, the process of submitting recommendations for statistical activities, and the implementation of quality gates to ensure the reliability and quality of statistical outputs.

In addition, the activity strengthened participants’ understanding of the importance of coordination among data producers, data custodians (walidata), and BPS to prevent duplication of statistical activities and to ensure that each statistical activity produces meaningful, high-quality data that can support evidence-based policymaking.

Through this internalization program, it is expected that all BPS regency and municipal offices in Jawa Tengah will further strengthen their understanding of the strategic role of sectoral statistics development, thereby supporting the realization of an integrated, effective, and high-quality National Statistical System.
