PSS Series 2: Deepening Statistical Business Processes and the National Statistical System
February 27, 2026 | Other Activities
Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS of Jawa Tengah Province organized the 2026 Sectoral Statistics Development (PSS) Internalization Series 2 on Friday, February 27, 2026. The event was conducted virtually via Zoom Meeting and attended by all Regency/Municipal BPS offices across Jawa Tengah as part of efforts to strengthen the implementation of sectoral statistics development in 2026.
The second series featured presentations by Indah Purnamasari and Siska Oktaviana Anggraini, focusing on Statistical Business Processes and the reinforcement of the National Statistical System. The session emphasized the importance of understanding standardized statistical workflows—ranging from planning, data collection, processing, analysis, to dissemination—to ensure alignment with the principles upheld by Badan Pusat Statistik as the national statistical authority.
Furthermore, strengthening the understanding of the National Statistical System is crucial to ensuring coordinated roles between BPS and regional government agencies as producers of sectoral data. With stronger synergy, the 2026 PSS initiative is expected to generate high-quality, integrated sectoral statistics that support data-driven development policies in Jawa Tengah.
