Data Synergy for the Acceleration of Kebumen Development

Bapperida Kabupaten Kebumen on Thursday, 19 February 2026, for consultation and discussion on accelerating poverty alleviation and economic growth in Kebumen Regency.

The Head of Bapperida Kebumen, Bahrun Munawir, stated that various poverty reduction programs have been designed based on BPS data and analysis. Furthermore, he expressed hope that BPS could provide more detailed economic data to strengthen regional development interventions.

The Head of BPS-Statistics Jawa Tengah Province, Ali Said, welcomed the visit and reaffirmed BPS’s commitment to providing data for policy planning and evaluation. BPS also continues to update its indicators in line with regional and global issues, including the green economy and tourism GRDP, and expects support from local governments in providing input data. Through sustained collaboration, it is hoped that the resulting policies will be increasingly well-targeted and deliver tangible impacts on improving community welfare.
