Strategic Direction Discussion on the Current Conditions of Jawa Tengah

Semarang, jateng.bps.go.id - BPS Jawa Tengah Province received an audience visit from the National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) of Jawa Tengah Province on Tuesday, 3 February 2026, at the meeting room of the BPS Jawa Tengah Province office.

During the audience, a constructive discussion took place on indicators that serve as strategic directions for the current conditions of Jawa Tengah Province, particularly in the economic, social, and cultural sectors, as well as on how BPS data can be utilized to measure performance and support the planning of Kesbangpol programs and activities.

The Head of the Division for Economic, Social, Cultural, and Community Organization Resilience of Kesbangpol, Rahmad Winarto, along with his team, was warmly welcomed by officials of BPS Jawa Tengah Province, including Harjo Teguh as Head of the Social Statistics Indicator Team, Sri Diastusi as Head of the Industry and Agriculture Team, Didik Nursetyohadi as Head of the Economy and Analysis Team, and Wisnu as Head of the Price and Distribution Team.

The audience session began with a presentation by the Head of the Price and Distribution Team on inflation data, followed by a presentation from the Head of the Industry and Agriculture Team on agriculture and industry data along with their statistical outputs. The Head of the Social Statistics Indicator Team then delivered a presentation on social statistics activities at BPS Jawa Tengah and their utilization in development. The session concluded with a presentation by the Head of the Economy and Analysis Team, Didik Nursetyohadi, who explained several economic and social indicators in Jawa Tengah.

On this occasion, Rahmad Winarto expressed his appreciation for the insights provided by the BPS Jawa Tengah Province team and hoped that BPS would continue to serve as a strategic partner for Kesbangpol in achieving its performance targets and responsibilities.
